Liquid Carboxylated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (CLNBR) (CAS: 25265-19-4) is a terpolymer of butadiene, acrylonitrile and a small amount of acrylic acid. CLNBR molecular chain contains a small number of carboxylic acid chain segments randomly distributed, because it has polar groups, so it has good adhesion to the substrate, good oil resistance, and has high bonding strength. When participating in the curing process of the epoxy resin system, the carboxyl group in CLNBR reacts with the epoxy group of the epoxy resin, thereby introducing the liquid NBR soft segment into the epoxy resin curing cross-linked network, which forms a heterogeneous system in the epoxy curing network and increases the toughness of the epoxy resin.
